What makes everything emerging increasingly? Information technology would influence our living from now on!
Internet of Things, IoT
Originated from the Internet and followed approximately by the Internet of Cars, this gathers numerous items together in a network. It is one of emerging technologies (ET) with which connect easily many objects for utilisation. The Internet of Services is another type of network for cloud computing.
Industry 4.0
Most people believe in the fourth generation of Industrial Revolution. The IoT may change human‘s life much better, but how does it demonstrate in reality? The smart grid has been the most significant examples of technical innovations nowadays. Mr Ho highly recommended smart metre is prior to developing in Taiwan. Then the intelligent / smart city will come afterwards. Both individuals and governments hope this blueprint would make people’s dreams come true in the near future.
Taiwan Internet Of Things Alliance, TIOTA
Economic cooperation is becoming an urgent issue internationally. International economic organisations are getting more and more important recently. ‘Taiwan is strong for hardware while India is good for software,’ Mr Ho stated. He looks forward to the prospect of cooperation. Meanwhile, the collaboration between Taiwan and China seems optimistic because of similar circumstances.
Recommendation
Balance business plans; do not put all our eggs in one basket! It might be risky if keeping track of our neighbour. Not only for generations but for the future had we better think twice comprehensively. We could be more extraordinary to do ourselves in the case of the alliance with China. The world will see what we strive for and how we survive toward the Big Dragon at the same time.
